Question about first part of keys

Ok,

So after my DM500C went off I decided to reflash the box with the Kaos v1.1 image. I've read through all the stickys etc and manged to get to the point of entering the keys.

I have two questions:

How do I know wether I'm using evocamd or mgcamd as I now seem to have the keyfiles for both in the var folder.

Secondly, both keyfiles are empty at present, I have downloaded and run the keymaster app which has given me several keys to try, but, when using the Dreambox key editor i am unsure as to what values go in the first two fields of each key - the example given is N and 4101. What are these values and where would I find them?

not sure about the first

but the second i think is

54 01 is for ex-ntl areas.
5A 01 is for ex-tw areas.
5C 01 is for ex-cw areas.
5E 01 is for chorus areas.

as I've only ever had VM I'm not sure what the old supplier used to be (Leeds LS12 area) guess I'm going to have to try all combinations !

Fortunatley im in wetherby which runs off the leeds server.. So ex C&W is the 1 you ll need

hold the info button for about 5 secs the emu manager will come up it should be evocamd but just read what is written there
