800c to 800s

Does anyone know the procedure to make a 800c into a 800s please?

I have a 's' tuner ready so what now?

remove cable tuner
replace with sat tuner
reflash an image if your old one dosent boot or just want to try new image
then what saellitte setup you got

Is your dm800c clone or original. If it is a clone box, I don't think you can just change the tuner. According to the manufacture the system board is different for -C and -S.

There are 3 type of clone box in dm800hd.

1> dm800-c hd pvr
2> dm800-s hd pvr
3> oem dm800-c/s hd pvr

only the oem dm800-c/s hd pvr can use both tuner.
