DM600 Help Needed

I have read the guides on this forum but think they are for the 500 box. I have tried to follow this guide but when i get to point 4.2 i cannot get any further.

Could some one tell me what i need to do for a 600PVR box. I have donwlaoded Key Master for the latest keysbut not sure where to put them.

1. Press Yellow
2. Select Tuxbox Commander
3. Press down arrow (9 Times) until you highlight ?var? in LEFT window.
4. Press OK
2. Press down until you highlight "camd_cfg"
3. Press "4"
4. Press Down 18 Times to: line says A: { 01 }
5. Press OK
6. Press Right 6 times to highlight "1"
7. Change to "0"
8. Press OK to make the change.
9. Press Exit
10. Press Red (to save changes)
11. Press Exit
12. Press Red (to save changes)
13. Press Exit

Final step:
Press the blue button
Now click ok to restart your EM CAMD 2.12

cant see why it would be any different on your 600

Thanks sorry to be a pain but it does not say what to do for ExCW.

Should also add using pli-image.

Its this key i do not have that Keymaster dont say what it is. e.g. i dont know what first two digits to enter for exCW. I have opened the keylist.txt on the screen and through FTP buts it's just a blank notepad file.


5a is telewest and 54 ntl.
Now the codes you get with keymater have to be manually input through tux.

so select edit the only put the numbers in the appropriate place.

For example. 5401 00 then code
5401 01 then code

Oh I see you need the whole lot, sorry don't know what the rest should be. Though I would have thought there should be something in the keylist.txt if you were watching stuff before.

I'm using the CLi image, but should be the same I think.
What I did was make sure AU is set to 02 in camd_cfg, then FTP the keylist.txt file (well, I edited it using textedit directly on the box from my mac, but for the PC, do this).. open the keylist using Wordpad, clear the contents, save, then FTP the file back, overwriting the original (its stored in the keys folder in CLi, not sure on PLi).
Then power off the 600, and back on again. once it has started up and the evocamd has started, you should have keys in your keylist.txt file. These will have been created if the AU is working properly, but they will be false keys. FTP this over again, edit it with the keys from keymaster, save, then FTP back to the 600 again.
Reboot the box, wait for evocamd to start, go to SlySports 1 and it should clear.
This worked perfectly for me. Hope it helps.

Cheers i think i will get working through this way, currently have a problem with FTP in windows explorer as when i bootup the box, it creates a new keylists fiel.

However as i was typing sly sports did come on for about 5 seconds and then went off again.

However as i was typing sly sports did come on for about 5 seconds and then went off again.

put this plugin on your box, then just use the remote control to enter the keys. N 5401 (depending on area), 01 or 00, then the 16 didgit key number....hope this helps

Hi i have got it working now but i would also like to try any other methods. I use the pli-image image for the 600PVR box. When i go into Software donwloads using the dreambox i cannot find any type of software plugin like this to download and install.
