What Prospects of A Permanent Fix

Has anyone any idea if there is a fix on the way to address the current keyroll issue or is it to soon to even ask this question?

I am afraid to discuss how the last fix came about because it was shrouded in acrimony but I reckon the guys who fixed it the last time could fix this one in 10 min they are THAT good.

Looks the same sort of issue too - a switch of some positions in the keys.

We will just have to wait and hope that someone (far cleverer than I) who was in the thick of it in April will give us a dig out.

AFAIR You have to dump the EMMs from a genuine box and work at it from there then reengineer the rom.

Last time around dreambox was last to be fixed but doesn't make me any less grateful

Well - that happened quickly. Kudos to the guy who took the time to fix this for everyone else.

Excellent news, I did not think that there would be a fix as soon as this. Thanks to all who had a part to play in resolving this. Fortunately I am in Ireland and had not had the keys rolled in our area, but it is good to know that when the inevitably do, there is a fix already available.
