How to add new channels for DM 500-C II

Is it possible to add new channels just for the Frequency range started at 586MHz for DM 500-C II which is pre-loaded with S***Hub channels? How to do it?

I had done a manual transponder scan with the following set up:

    1. Frequency : 586,
    2. Symbol Rate: 6875,
    3. Modulation QAM : 256

It stated that there are 12 new TV channels found after scanning but I am not able to locate them. Only 10 channels were found after I did a manual count on my existing available channels in this set up box.

Do you mean there is not way to add that 2 new channels into the existing list to make it 12 channels in total?

It is a china made Dreambox which is pre-installed with SH channels software for Singxxxre market. I am not sure if this is a clone version of dreambox DM 500C.

Then it should have shown as 0 new channel found if the 'new' channels are not infact a new one?

Back to the same question, Is it possible to add any new channels in the consolidated channels list for this particular model?

You got picture of your box? Or simply describe how you add the channel? How does the appearance look like?

Because right now no one know your model.

I did a channels scan as described in floor 1. 12 new channels found but don't know where to find it.

Picture for this model as attached.

you try to re-scan that frequency that found 12 new channels.

it will still show 12 'new' channels found!!

                        understand?

The above Frequency 586MHz contain 1*Radio, 2*Data, 9*TV Channel make up total of 12. But I think on that box you can only see the 1*Radio & 9*TV.

If you are adding channels with other frequency range, I believe you can try the auto-search / NIT / manual search. Not so sure because I don't have the box but most of the ox support 3 type of search.

Thanks Arraysys. I think you are right. This explains why I can only find 10 channels after carried out a manual count on the available channels in my box for this frequency range.

I tried manual scan function, but I don't dare to do a auto scan or NIT scan because it may mess up my current channels numbering.

Is it usually that new channels will be auto added after a auto scanned was carried out in other similar dream box ?
