DM600 dreambox problem

hi everyone
took my dm600 around a friends house who is havin problems with his tecnomate box and server to show him how good mine is only problem is when i plugged it in it just kept sayin waitin for dish to move to 28.2 but already was on that only thing i didnt change was long and lat he only lives about a mile away thought it would be ok any ideas ow did change it when i remembered to try that and still nothin any ideas thanks

you will have to manually move the dish until you get lock.

his was already on 28.2 on his box only unplugged his and plugged mine in so would it still need to moved thanks

ok mate what has happened is when you set your box up in you house with your dish>>> you give the motor positions to remember by what you put in your box>> ie position 1 on your box might be 5east

and position 2 28east and so on.....

then you take it to your friends house but the positions stored in his box and motor are not the same order as yours is set to ...so when you ask his dish to go to 28east it does not reconise that position as 28 east on his will be stored further up the list or down his could be position 10

do you see what i mean
