DM500 No Transponder on dm500s Cable

need help.
iv have flashed my dm500s with dk.1
i have uploaded the keys to var/keys and same with scce to var scce. rebooted box, when i go to auto transponder scan, i dont get any Cable providers (NTL, Chor, T/W)..
it only comes up with the satellite numbers like astra19.2, astra.28.2
i need cable the cable Transponders.
i have copyed the cables.xml file to var/etc still cant get anything up on the scaning side. just comes up with the satellite sames.

you cannot use a satellite box on a cable feed

what you trying to do...dreambox 500s is satelite, flash the box with gemini 420 or darkstar nabilo 11... scan at 28.4

are you sure it is a cable box and not a sat box ??? cos you said its a dm500s which is satellite
version,dm500c is the cable version

your area might have gone N3 so no free tv
