Ok, i have a dreambox 500c and it used to work fine until the cable in copmpany scrambled the feed for all dreambox users. people in barbados are now using ethernet cables to get their boxes showing again via internet. heres the deal: people are now chargin simple folks like my self in excess of $450 (my currency is 1US=2 barbados dollars) to get you "up and running", the feed freezes often and those persons have the power to cut your feed at anytime. i've downloaded flash wizard and dreamup but i have no clue how 2 use them. i see all this about gemini and images and i am totally lost. can anyone give me some help on how to connect my 500c,use and where 2 get these gemini images. or a simple way in which i can get my 500c up and perking again without puttin a "dent" in my pockets for sucky service. any help would be much oblidged and appreciated.

Yeah swap the box for a 500s and stick a dish up instead. -
thank you for the response, but would it be possible to continue using the antenna which i already have, which is one that sort of resembles a drill (it has no "petals" on it's circumfrence) . if i did get a dish what size you recommend?Comment

if you really gonna pursue this, i suggest you do sum research with our good ol pal mr google, he has all the answers your looking for. people telling you what to do wont make you understand what you are actually doing. in order for this to work you must fully comprehend exactly whats happening. hey you could even make money yourself, depending on how hard you look.Comment

In Barbados doing sc you will pick up dish network amazons and some other satellites. I asked my mate in Barbados he said that he got the dreambox dm100s
other Dreamboxes work . But know one in Barbados knows how to program them.
the bajan programmers will supply you with the dish and lnb and installation.Comment
