son tryed to flash dreambox 500c from dvdseller, half way throgh it it stop he pulled power, and now nothing got a null cable any advice on what to use, i flash a image to it but all i get on the tele is a blue screen, but dreamup its pinging it

try a different image, using dream up. Try the DK image.

just flash will do, ive done both ways so still will work. But try just flash first

When you put the image on with dreamup...did you ftp the fix across so it auto updates its.

what image did you flash with dream up ?
and
what image is the back up ?

if your trying to use flash wizard to put a back up image over a different make of image it wont work and will cause the box to freeze or keep booting up to the logo screen.

both dk with fixs, going good on my dreambox but not on this 1

ok its up and running, seems it takes a bit longer to do than my other clone
