Its possible to use the DM500 but no public servers whereas the KV and SV offer you the same thing to some extent at a one of cost.

N3 as per the link is not hacked and the methods used are via cardsharing, google will have all the info you need on CS.

the dm500c has a card slot is this not possable to do the same as kv sv on card sharing

Dump the subs flash to find the 64byte CAM_N rsa key, add that with the CAMID (card serial as hex) and the boxkey to your favourite cam s/w (sbox or oscam) and run with mgcamd (to enable EMMs).
