DM500 Dreambox 500c evocamd 1.2 not working

Hello guys,

Im new to this and need some help with a problem.

I have a dreambox 500c and I am from Birmingham and in the last 3-4weeks the channels suddenly stopped working and have not come back on since. The only channels that work are 1-5 so what do you suggest I do to get them working again.

N3 works fine on a DM500C and I didn't mean attitude as in anger, I meant that with a defeatest approach like that, people aren't going to restore their channels...

I'd call c/s a fix, it's easier than dumping the card and everyone gets what they want...VM get paid and people get their channels (albeit for a lot less than if they had a sub )

No, I'm just sick and tired of people sitting about with their hands stretched out waiting for someone to post a solution..

& with other people saying c/s is not a solution, well it's the only solution you will ever see so I can't understand that either..

Do people really expect to see another version of MY opos code...?

The DM500C works fine with N3, the numerous posts/screencaps show this so I hope people stop waiting and start doing...

I'd say c/s is a solution but the less technologically minded who stumbled into the scene in recent years thru wide spread trading of boxes want a quick fix like has been supplied in the past. These people will always need this help as they only want free telly and don't have time/expertise/can be arsed to do the work involved. the point was rubbing peoples noses in it just makes u look like a tool.

if you don't like the 1000's of begging posts, stay out and don't read them - that how i've found i keep my sanity when going round the boards...

The point of the posts was to show, despite the so called 'know it alls' that c/s is possible with a dm500...

Initially, they were posted to show progress (as in EMM processing, setting up a proxy server etc) with others that were interested in the combinations that worked for VM n3 card...

On completing the project, a bulk set of the images were pasted on to the 3 main forums to show it is a) possible and b) possible with the combination of tools shown...

if you think that working a project this way makes people look like a tool, then that's your opinion, but the result is that some people may be inspired to try, others that have know which s/w is known to work and will persist in making their setups work...

After supplying years (and I mean years) of support to the N1 campaign, I'm not about to start feeling any guilt. If you can't XOR 2 values together, that's not my fault

I've always tried to inspire people to try, if you feel that's bragging then you've seriously misjudged my post ethic

i think the whole kv/sv boxes proved it was possible. Anyway, that is how i've read your posts, if thats not how they were meant - my apologies - it was too suble for me

The commercial guys were using Nagra2 tech and Control Word sharing to achieve the numbers they're serving and not card sharing as you and I know it (with cccam / mgcam etc etc)

My posts don't reference Nagra2, we didn't get that in the UK to make life easier.
