Good day! Are you talking about dm900cII? If this happen on the 4 Nov 2010, the cause is AUcard expired. To solve your problem, you need to purchase a new card and get your box firmware upgrade to support the new card. The latest box firmware is Jun 6 2010, I believe your one is May 14 2010. You may check the firmware version under the menu option "System Information".

My DM900C card died somewhere in July. and have since gotten a DM500. yesterday managed to get a new AUcard but i think my DM900C cannot support the new card. how do i upgrade my DM900C firmware?

BTW i did a master reset back then... will it affect the new card?

Who is the one who have been asking people to do a master reset to solve the problem on DM900C-II???

If box have been master reset before, the box set key of the box will be reset as well. Even you tell an agent or supplier that you are using a DM900C-II & they sell you the new card, you are not able to use it. Not that they cheat you but it was your set box set key already reseted.

I you have done a master reset. Try to reset the card by using f8 ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff.

If you know how to... Yes, that is the only option for DM900C-II.

For DM900C-II, you cannot use a computer to update firmware, back-up & restore like any other set.

Sad to say i do not know how to clone.

Wanted to use computer, but unable to find the software, firmware and clear intructions... i also need the drawing of the null modem cable

also seem like you have use so many type of recevier.
how do you rated both the dm500c & dm800hd??
