Can you rename nagra7 to nagra3/10/11

I am in dublin and am anticipating that they will change to whatever they did in the UK soon. I have an itgate 220TGM and updated to the new UK software. In they UK they were told to use evocam, and in Ireland hypercam (an itgate cam). Hypercam did work and evocam did not.

So I am guessing if I put the new nagrarom7.bin file on then it might not work here yet(?)

So could I rename the new file to nagrarom3.bin? and copy the other current nagra 7 files and rename to nagra3. Then I could disable nagra3 on my boxes, and if/when they do change I could simply turn off nagra7 and turn on nagra3 (which is really the new nagra7).

I will stick the new file on and check if it works here by forcing an update.

make a back up and try it fella.....your the one in the correct area to test the theory....if it dont you always have your originals until a fix is found....trial and error sometimes.

I tried it and it didnt work. 1 digit wrong. I think a better option is now renaming the file, rather than delete.

I could not see a way to turn on/off nagra files with blade quad, so my first idea might not have worked in blade quad.
