FTP problems.

Hi all,

I can FTP into my Dreambox fine, but for some reason I cannot copy/rename/delete any of the files in /var/scce. Each time I try I get a permission denied message.

I've tried changing the folder permissions (that failed as well). I can create files/folders fine in the /tmp directory.

Anyone got any ideas?

exact problem I had few months back, for some reason the var folder and all its contents become ready only

on fix was to reflash a new image

Damn. I was hoping I didn't have to flash a new image.

But if it is the only way, guess I have no choice.

yup quickest way I found was to reflassh - as u say I could copy stuff to the tmp folder but nothing within var folder

I would backup the var/keys and var/scce and also your channel list, bouquets

yeah agree , just reflash and make a backup then you got summut to fall back on.
