You can also try the latest version 1.3.3.7

Doesnt matter wich version I try, same thing happen...

And the cable is ok, I have used it to flash this particular box before...

In that case most likely problem with the box. Alternatively you can use FLASHWIZARD 6.3. It will flash via IP address.

Hi- need some help with a DM500S - using dreamup and erased the box and when I upload the image it tells me the image is uploading but it justs sits there doing nothing - there is no progress bar displayed.

I presume you are using null-modem cable direct from serial port
on PC. I also presume you don't power-up box until prompted by
Dream-up loader. I always say no to flash erase & I never have
a problem. Try diff. version of image you are using in case it is
corrupt, or try diff. image. DK 1.1 or PLI-Jade images are fine on
DM500s.
