How to clear channel list please ??

I guess cause ive been doing loads of channel scans i have loads of duplicate channels, how the heck do i just clear the whole lot of the channels and do a fresh scan with just one set of channels rather than loads of the one thing, like 5 movies premier, 5 sky sports 1 etc etc, , obviously i dont want to flash the box again unless i have to ?

its dw 2.1 i have by the way, and i find that first off its not finding as many channels as what it should do as compared to other versions, dunno if anyone else has noticed this ?

on remote press ok then red button then look for ur channel u want to delete then press dream button and u shud see delete .i cant mind how u wud do a wad a channels on the one go but u can do it one at a time the way ive told u..

thats a hell of a carry on all that deleting one by one, , surley theres a way to use a setting on the box to totally clear all channels so that you can do a fresh scan ? (without having to reflash).

factory reset then.then stick ur rom7 back in again, or try the panic button ive not tried that myself yet but give it a go .

nah, as says before, , i tried the old factory reset just like you did and then you need to reflash etc, ~~~~ that, .

Iam sure theres got to be a way of wiping channels clean without flashing etc, hmmm, maybe someone cares to shed some light on this please ?

Ohh, and dont mention ftp'ing the box and all that crap as my box isnt connected to the pc constant and its a pain in the balls having to run up n down stairs anytime stuff needs done and connecting to pc etc, even if i have to connect it to my downstairs pc its even more of a pain in the sacks rolling around on hard floor under tables and shit connecting cables, thats my idea of a days work, ilmfao. it is though, .

Well if you aint gona be arsed using the FTP method then m8,you would be as well to follow what the previous poster told you....Why dont you just create a bouqet with the films you want or whatever it is and then just use them,simple

its no that i canny be arsed, well it is, .
No, its just a ~~~~in pain cause of the way all my kit is setup, its not easy getting in to the cables at rear of any my computers and not easy even fiddling with the cabling over at the tv for the dreambox the way i have it all set up, i suppose i could use a big long cable from the pc to dreambox and just do that, but even thats a hassle as theres nowhere to hide the cable in here, so it would mean a big stupid cable out everytime i had to use it running from one end of the house to the other, again, thats not a very good option for me, i know it is an option and i already have the cables etc, but you know what i mean ?

Rules that out m8,as he dont want to use the PC for it...Am telling you m8,you just need to sift through em if you cant be bothered doing it through the pc....
