DM500 Default Volume level on DM500C, How to adjust?

I power off my dreambox completely when I am not using it with Bye Bye Standby wireless on/off gadget.
Q.
How can I change the default Volume level after a cold restart, I would like it to be louder ie Full On, is there a setting in Linux to change this permanently?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread!

My 500C has recently started doing this i.e. upon startup the volume is set too low and i have to turn it up to full. Is there a workaround to get it to start up on full volume? Cheers.
