I have a dreambox 500 and just recently had to have it taken back to factory settings and start over again, my problem is ,how do I stop my DCC from searching for a IP adress, I remember someone telling me what to do about a year ago and its worked fine until now.
does anyone know what I have to do ?????

Go into COMMUNICATION SETUP in box menu.
Untick DHCP, save settings, reboot box. Then you can manually
set IP address
