    Back scratching anyone???

    You know; "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours"...

    Ok, So I finally got my DM500-C after waiting for weeks, it appears to function, but only as a satellite RX, I was told this was a cable model...??? Hmmm...

    I am about to embark on the steps outlined in a tutorial I found on Utoob, wish me luck...

    Oh yeah, the "back scratching part..." I'll probably have some questions... Maybe I can help someone with tech issues (programming, networking, electronics, CNC, anything tech pretty much) that helps me with this DM500-C setup...

    If anyone has experience with illinois based cable carriers and this box give me a shout...

          Well, I have a major headache with my DM500-C, any image I try to flash, it starts, then I get an error "aborted by user, exiting", the flash erase works fine, but I cannot even restore the original image... If anyone reads this and can help, give me a shout, PLEASE... BLK...

                  Right now, I'd be happy to get it to boot again, supposedly this is a cable model DM500-C, I've been trying to follow instructions found on a utoob video that got me to this site...

                          r u hoping to watch all channels without c/s ? if your r your out of luck theres no fix for cable dreambox

                              Well, now I have 1.3.3.7, I have not been able to locate an older version of the Dreamup app, all the links I find have this same version... BTW: I appreciate your assistance... blk

                                          Beautiful, worked like a charm, the flash is done, now on to the next step, in answer to your query, I want to watch cable on it... Com cast cable...

                                          Thanx for the tip... I put the DK1.1 img on the box, now I am back to the video tutorial...

                                          Unless someone has the magic in one package for me...

                                              Not sure what you mean without c/s, this model is a DM 500-C
