DM600 Missing Satellites & Transponder Menu in Setup

    Hi all,

I've been using various images on my 500C and 600PVR (with Hardisk) for many months with no issues. Fixed both boxes with new nagrarom7 file, again with no issues.

Decided to upgrade my 500C & 600PVR from Pli Jade RC release to Jade Final. The 500C upgraded no problem.

However, the 600PVR has surprisingly caused me many problems.

Tried using the known telnet method (which has worked many times in the past). However, when rebooting box for the first time after flashing I have found that the Satellites & Transponders menu option within Setup is no longer there for me to do my 1st scan.

I have reflashed using Null Modem Cable method (Dreamup) unfortunately with the same result.

Just to confirm, I have also ftp'd the cables.xml and keys/Navroms again with the same result.

Lastly, I tried the Pli Iolite image (telnet method and dreamup) again with the same result. Can any one assist.

p.s. I noticed that there's no option to erase flash using Dreamup

Try using another image other than the ones by Pli team and if you still get the same problem than I would say there was a problem with your tuner.

Try to use the Dreambox Control Center (DCC) and overrwite all the file in key and scce folder. dont forget to add the cable.xml file. its took me a week before i sortout my 600pvr.

        Hi.

Many thanks Curious123 & Joebay. I opened up the box and found that the tuner was slightly loose and had come out slightly. Pushed it back and all sorted now.

        Many thanks
