DM600 ROM 7 fix works but not how it should be

Did the rom7 fix. Del Rom 10 and 11. set the autoupdate command aswell to 2.

Every few hours though I seem to lose my channels. Do a restart cam and it works again. why is this.

Have i done something wrong

I did the same but didn't bother with the autupdate and mines been fine.. I would reflash it with a new image and than copy the var/keys , var/scce and your services back to the box.

I wonder if you have told the box to use the 3 cams vbut then deleted 2 of them. Tell it to only use one cam, also ensure you delete the nargaprams also.

If you look in your keylist file you perhaps might need to empty it.

you dont the EMU (evocamd) knows about these files and what to do with them.

i just deleted all roms files except 7's and overwrote the existing rom7 file with the new one and box is working perfect

vm here has started using rom10 so make sure you include all the roms that devilfish has updated with rom7.

there you go mate download it as it now has the rom 10

the only problem is that when you go onto sbo the channels go off and sumtimes go off the next day yu have to reboot and restart cam

Harry check your keylist.txt file when this happens and see if it is being populated with keys from a different rom.

Also - if you dont mind can you stop posting in pink/orange text sometimes as I cannae read it ;-)

yeh i found putting the roms back in cured the slow updating

So what is the concensus of opinion here guys, does using this new update with the extra roms benefit you. I left mine with just the updated 7 and moved the others to my PC last weekend. My channels do take about 10 seconds to clear but have not bothered using these updated files yet.

i dont notice a roll now i added the others back.

i had to restars cams without them!
