DM7025 autoupdate question

Hi Guys, I have a Dm7025 with cable and sat tuners, now I have always used cccam on it and when the keys for cable change I ftp into the box and put them into the softcam.key , I have always wanted to be able to switch cams for a second to let it autoupdate then go back to cccam as I am on CS, since reading a lot on these forums ive got further than I ever have, by using mgcam to autoupdate the cable key in softcam.key it works but it autoupdates it as 5A01 xx xx xx xx etc, but in order for it to work with cccam I have to change it to 5B01 xx xx xx x etc, is there something im doing wrong or is there any way of getting it to be 5B01 all the time, I hope this makes sense to somebody, cheers lads, garny.

no m8 im having the same problems unless we can get cccam auto updating we are snookered i think

i cant understand how i can change to mgcam it updates the keys but when i flick back to cccam they have gone again you would think they would stay changed without having to manualy update wouldnt you

yeah mate its a pain, ive now got mgcam to autoupdate the keys but it makes them 5a01 and i need 5b01 in softcam.key, its a little more helpful since now i only have to ftp into the box and change the a to b instead of pasting the full keys but surely there must be a way of changing it to 5b01 automatically, im gonna keep trying things anyway !

Have you tried editing the Autoroll.key file any where the line starts with 5A01 change it to 5B01 you never know?

Yeah mate thanls for the reply but ive tried all I can see and its the same.

thats the only way i no mate navigate via tux box (or its equivalent) and change the contents of keylist.txt to a key with your prefix and that should kick it into searching for your correct provider.......other than that the only way i know is flashing a fresh image and replacing the keys until it generates the correct provider codes but thats a pain ......
