hi, i tried to access my dream box 500 via telnet and the log in and user name provided in the dreambox tutorial doesn't work. any idea how to reset it? I also don't know the remote password and would like to get that reset as well? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Exactly which model have you 500c, 500s,500hd, or other.
What country are you in, some suppliers lock menu
Telnet is not easiest method to use initially. If you want to flash
new image use dream-up loader
You could use Flash-FXP to install any add-ons to image

If you're not happy with image on your box flash new image

Digital Kaos - Downloads - Commando v14.2 Neutrino for the Dreambox 500s
Add Cccam 2.13 to any of above images & you will be well on

Re flash the box using dreamup older version for your box, that will reset all your passwords be sure to back up the image First can be done with dreamupComment
