500-c ftp

i have follwed the tut on how to connect to ftp but it will not do it. i have got the ip of the box and dhcp is enabled , i have set up filezilla the way discribed and i keep getting a time out message saying conection has timed out-waiting to retry-connection established .

any idea's

does that always when on DHCP, just change the dhcp to static IP - much easier to manage

Aye, uncheck DHCP on the box and you should be able to connect to the same ip over and over again
