Problems flashing Dreambox 500C

Hi,

I cant flash my dreambox (original) 500C.
It seems that when i flash it with dreamup it doesnt work.
The green light is constantly on and i seems i cant connect it to the LAN.
Read other threads about it and it seems that i have to use the erase image to get it working, but i cant download the image from the site.
Any ideas on how to do this?

Sounds to me like your flashing a corrupt image. Try another image.

As long as the dreambox is connecting via dreamup then its flashable.

Hi mate as cg ha said try a diffrent image the one in my signature is simple to use what version of dreamup are you using you should use old version as the latest version is more for the latest boxes, good luck. Also the green light is always on thats normal.

Try a flash erase with the image first. Then dreamup again and no to flash erase.

This may sort the problem.

I know its silly but, your getting no plcture yes have you checked the scart lead when dreamup is done is it telling you box was flashed . Sometimes its the small things.

Edit: i read it wrong, said lead not led. Still not shure what you wanted me to do hehe, could you please explain =)

scart lead the cable you use to connect box to tv. make sure it is connected properly
