is their something on the horizon from VM or have they given up for now.

I've been curious about the same thing. Maybe they are watching and reviewing the strategy before striking again

Their moles would have reported back that all the fixes are out for all the boxes so no point in continously rolling the keys.

Happens all the time in my experience - curious (as normal) is spot on. Key rolls vary very infrequently. The only pattern is there is no pattern! The fixes are out for the majority of boxes so there is less reason for them to roll. Probably still be the odd roll but I would be very surprised if it doesnt slow down.

Enjoy it while it lasts as the next one might be the big N3. Time will tell.

the reason i say expensive is; admin costs, technology costs and research cost would be high when you think how many end users there are and the risk of the whole network going down

I reckon the next one will be to hit just before Christmas and screw the boxes for the holidays.

I Can only assume VM are happy wit the recent changes...the aim here i guess was to `slow the distribution` of these boxes....with the last key changes i would imagine half of liverpool are still waiting for there `fix guy` to pop around and update it....although i suspect they will be charging `top up fee`s`along with the xmas carol....

there is the guy out there that has supplied alot of these boxes....he now has to apply the fix for all his customers...the keyroll certainly fcuked him up.....maybe this is enough for VM.....

yes the moles would have reported back that n7 failed....this will now encourage VM to move to n3 security......

the only thing that surprises me is that n3 has taken so long.

to be honest vm (or their predecessors) have taken an eternity to roll this out. the thoughts previously was that it would cost too much. that now seems to be untrue which to my mind indicates that the management were incompetent. that said, very surprised that it wont need a major box upgrade for many users. i cant see this being a short term roll out and suspect some areas may get up to a year before it goes live. it certainly wont be live uk wide as operation santa suggests.

as i keep on saying enjoy it while it lasts - mind you been saying that since NA guide.
