Scanning for Setanta

No I do not have any of the Setanta channels working. I am looking for a solution just like you. I only have bics 3 - 10 . I guess that 1 & 2 are taken up with UK Style and UK Food. I cannot view any of my BICS channels nor get any epg. I am looking to update to the latest version of mgcamd as soon as I can find a link. My image is UK05. It seems that quite a few people have the same problem in our surronding area.

my sister, in stafford, has the setanta channels though oh her eurovox, they were at 386.00. all she had to do was a powerscan.

If i scan this frequency, inverted, it locks on but doesn't find any channels.

I'm using dk1.1, but have also tried a neutrino image without success

I know it's a long shot but did you definitely use bruteforce for UK. There is a NTL MMDS Bruteforce that caught me out a while ago? Just a thought!

I was wondering which DK image you guys have? the 1.0 or the 1.1?

it could be something to do with versions. I flashed the 1.1 image yesterday without flashing the 1.0 version first. So i did it straight from the DW image to DK 1.1.

Im not sure though, jsut a suggestion. By the way my setanta channels dont work either so perhaps this could be the case

I've got the same problem!!!! I'm sure this is affecting loads of people as well!!! Looks like viewing tonights game is out of the picture.

NTL Glasgow's frequency is 34675.

I believe that in Staffordshire (pure) that the Setanta must be on bics channels 11-20 as they are now on a block on their own and uk food and style are on bics 1 & 2. which we can see. It is also likely that they are on TSID=000a on a frequency that is not in our cables file , therefore they are not scanned automatically. Hence we would like to hear from anyone in the Staffordshire area who can receive these channels or point us at a services file.

Sounds like to me, no idea why these frequencys aren't scanned properly, lost count of the number of scans i've done on 386 for setanta (i know thats where it is) and got nowt.

Is there any way of updating the net id scans in dk1.1 to tell it to look for these?

I was in the same boat but I've found setanta on teh BICS channels. Only problem is that Setanta 1 does not have any sound?!?!?!? ANy ideas?

All the other channels on the BICS have sound but just not setanta 1 so I'm watching the Spurs game with no sound.

im in scotland i have setanta working fine on channel 363 how do i get frequency info that yous all need and i will post for all if you think it will help
