    DM500 Helps For Broken DM500-C

    Lately my Dreambox is unstable. Therefore, I did a factory default reset, but things did not get better. Without a second thought, I did a restore; and this was my greatest mistake. The Dreambox can now only display the startup screen which flickers on and off. Its "power on" light always stay green and there is no way it can go on standby (red). I guess I have screwed-up the unit. Can any kind soul help? Many thanks in advance.

      try to use dreamup + null cable to do the reflash again...

          where are you from? other than image, you need services file, keys file in order to get it working

              First, thanks again to Harky. I had re-flash and the unit is back to life. But the picture quality is bad. None of the channels will lock or syn with auto or manual scan.


              Hi, Eddlko I am from Singapore. Thanks for your concern. Is my unit going bad since it's unable to lock or syn any channels?

                  You need to services.xml in order to lock the channel and keys to unlock. see pm for more guides.

                              To any kind soul pls PM me the new codes mine a DM500 cII with card. Came back home and suddenly some channels missing.
