cannot write anything to my dreambox500c

I have tried to upload stuff to my box via 'cyberduck' on my mac and it never uploads. Additionally I did a rescan on my box before and an error box came up claiming it could not create a service file.

Any ideas what ive done wrong and how to fix this?

Sounds like it's went into read-only mode. Reflash the image and you should be ok. Or do a factory reset.
