To all box from china, it is time to change to Dreambox or get new wangka or kawang.
Other methods are temporary fix which you will come back here after every attack.
The best method is get a legit box from SH. You get trouble free service.
It is time to get a box from SH at least with the cheapest channels pricing. Your cable signal will be disconnected VERY VERY SOON.

Once you do a master reset, you have gotten yourself in more deepshit than if you had tried to find a proper solution.

I can't really understand why people hit reset or panic buttons without first finding out the implications or consequences of doing so.

Now you need to try to research on this board to figure out how to get your stuffs back (from the master reset) in addition to solving the original problem.

I try using null modem but the 2 units don seems to respond with software DreamLP with my XP machine. Is there any bro that can help or even charge me for the service. I strongly think that the card is working fine cos I use it on my friend's unit.

Dm900c model not able to flash image using dreamup. If confirm yr card is working on yr friend set and not yours, then i suggest you try this method.
Hook up the rs232 cable on one end to yr friend working set and the other end to your set. Press yellow on the remote and go to the system update. On update mode choose transmit for the working set and receive for yr set and wait for the process to complete. It will overwrite and follow the working set provided yr card does not expire, all the channel are still viewable.

Hi! I am new here and gotten a DM900-CII set from a friend and it is totally blank when i hook up to the TV. Is it that the machine has gone kaput or do I need to borrow a set to do the above?
Anyone can allow me to sync with your set?
I am also using the M88 2nd Generation Aucard.
The feeling I have here is climax for a second and then an\ti-climax all the way!!

I am using the 2nd generation M88 card, is this a infinite card or has expiry date?
Should i buy a new card?

I had few friends having DM900C-II and HQK3388, and other variants of set-top-box, and having the card with this FY logo.
They all are valid thru 8-Aug-2012 (Nagra date hex of 29 08 ), all cards with these settings will simply fail the day after onwards.
You probably have to contact your box sellers and let them milk you again, asking them for new cards with new set of expiry dates.

These ROM11 cards are VERY rare.. and possibly EXPENSIVE too..

Those cards without the FY stickers probably able to reprogram with new set of expiry date with the right tools and utilities.
