    Emulator

    Hi DK

    Just got a few questions.

    1. Is there any sort of Dreambox Emulator to test images and skins?

    2. If i wanted to make a skin would i need to make a whole image?

    Cheers

1- there is no emulator for that, some theories said it cauld be on apple pc
because it have PPC processors but not sure
insteed you can test any image by multiboot method to save your flash

2- not need to build a whole image just need eskins or dreambox skin studio tool to do that (but you should customize xxx.esml file to work with some images)
you cauld download it from download section here

Apple computers are using Intel Processors coming up to two years now so thats not entirely accurate, even with the old version of Mac's using PPC processors its still not sufficient enough to to emulate due tho the erratic behaviour of Apple's older hadware, I personaly think to have any hope you would need be using some Linux Os such as Redhat or simular built with some specially modified Hardware.
