Advice re DB 800 HD

Hi Guys,
Looking to buy a DB 800 HD pvr. My questions are,

1. is it easy to set up ( I have a 500s)
2. which company can you recommend. I have seen many from China, but looking for a uk company.
3. What price is possible.
4. Or would you advise to wait for the DB 500 HD

Probably the same as your 500 to setup.

Not really, as enigma2 does change things dramatically (not all for the good though).
You can, e.g. , flash directly from the webinterface that shows as you type the adress in your browser that shows in the oled-display of the dm800 when you keep the power button pressed for a while at startup....

Iv got a motorisedf set up on the db500 and have now got and had a db 800hd for over a week and cant get it to see more than 1 sat.

ie its set to 28,2e as i cant get usals to work or positioner to work,,

ive got a friend whos goin to try and setr it up on thursday for m8...

let u know how i get on.

Same with mine, i have a DM800 connected to a motor and it's been a bloody nightmare! I give up trying to tune more than 1 satellite, fantastic box though! would highly recommened.

got mine sorted me self but its a bit hit and miss.

Rushed out to get a 2.5 inc hard drive to save me settings on..

once set up with the picons, full epgs etc..it deffo is a dreambox..

Nabilo blackhole 12 is a great image.

Dont install the update as the image is up to date as it is..
