Cant help you with the above wouldn't think the source code will be made public

If your looking for a N2/N3 cam, rqcamd source code is public & it worked 100% better than hypercam on N2 in Ireland

mmm i wouldnt think it would be 100% better,,, hypercam work 100% too on my simulation system here,, no missed ecm,
but anyway its not public source code,, so yes you want source you must look at rqcamd
