Try getting the image from the chatterbox toolbar and then ftp'ing new roms over as im unsure if these have the latest roms.

This will just ensure that everything is in the right place as this version has all keys, emu's and roms in place already.

Am I right in thinking - if you can't scan for the channels - then having the right keys/emus/roms is irrelevant ? I still can't get any channels whatsoever. I've tried 4 / 5 images now, with all the updates and files in place. My signal seems fine - I just cant get a single channel.. Gutted

yes mate roms and emu just make the picture visuable nothing to do with the location are you picking up any channels in the scan talk me through what you have done and i will try to sort you out pm me with your email adress

I don't know if the others have but I certainly have!

I'm no expert but I've been using my dbox for the last 4 years, I can flash an image and set it up in minutes blindfolded, I can re image a box using a null modem cable and IFA in no time at all!!

But when it comes to the file system and the deep dark recesses of the software I'm lost totally - and I don't mind admitting it!!!

reflashed laky and still the same wont scan so uploaded my services file god its trying me

Mate did around 6 scans using different combinations in the scan setup.

He's in Leyland which is near to Preston and has a Preston postcode.

After several attempts I told him to try using Chorley as his location which is not far away, over 300 channels found including Sultana.

i've already tried all the birmingham location i think its best to call it a day with this not getting any help from the gurus never mind thanks to all you guys who had a go all the best to ya

There is no bruteforce scan with this image (most ppl dont need it) your best bet would be to backup your image and flash with one that has bruteforce do a brute force scan save your services then put this image back on your box and copy services back across

Commando 10 has bruteforce, just turn off fast scan, takes around 20 min, pain in the arse i know but should get you all your channels.
