    Stuttery Sagem x1 Box

    Hi all,

I've got a Sagem 1x box in my bedroom with the Blade Trinity Re-Visited image at the moment it's picking up stations but not others ie channels not available it also freezes a few times too. I have used an old piece of sky cable to run from downstairs into the box but it seems to act weird because when i take it downstairs all is fine. Could it be the bit of cable i'm using? I'm thinking of using Blade Quad image which i have just converted from 2x to 1x.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Scott.

problem seems to be cable, try changing the cable and adding a booster.

Could be the cable m8, if you take readings upstairs and downstairs it may help you work out if its a signal issue.

Press red button then blue button and compare the reading for.

      Ber
      snr
      sig

Ber should be as low as possible, approx 70 or less but usually around 20.

      snr should be above 55000

      sig should be above 40000

If there is a big difference between upstairs and downstairs then that may be the problem.

if it work's fine downstairs and not upstairs it's def a signal issue, obviously try a new length of cable and check all connections, if this doesn't resolve it u can go down the booster route but i dont tink you will need to.
