Waiting for time

Hi all, got Nokia dbox2 re-flashed perfect with commando 9.25 got a ftp (flashfxp)'d new keys n roms over and my BowK n Service n epgfilter etc... done it a hundred times b4 but when conecting my cable feed i get no signal just says waiting for time...tuner goosed ????

any1 had this b4 and managed to fix it???

On inspection box has never been opened b4 and no tampering found... any tuts on changing tuners... Any 1 changed 1 ? how hard was it?

Try changing ucode also does it find channels when scanning if it does check the bootlog it might be the sec chip thats fualty

Full scan slow finds 303 transponders with 0 channels so must b goosed tuner, will try changing the transistor c if that works

Think thats were your Problem lies Mate
This needs to Be as near to zero as you can get it
Check all Your connections from the wall all the way to the box
Try the Box dirrect to the wall without any splitters
See if that Helps ...........................Paul
Try the Box at another Location

im trying this box in the same place i try all my boxes m8, im litterally moving my own box out the way to try it....

i got the same problem mate.....does the scan and finds no channels....it found about 15 channels on 1 scan, but no more. I have tried commando 9.25, 10, laky sylas, sportstar....isit definately the tuner then??

as previously discussed ftp the service file from the working box to pc....reconnect duff box traansfer the service file to this box...DO NOT THEN SCAN....u should have the channels already there.....

hey metman...as discussed previously...i done what you told me and it started to pick up the channels....only 15! and they were freezing and hardly showing anything.

I then ftp'd the services and bouqet files from a working box and it has all the channels but dosent actually show the channels...comes up with channel not available.....same feed stick another box....perfect!!...........i'm thinking now its gota be hardware??? what you think matye??

hi alom5

back up the whole img of the working box - make sure they are the same 1x or 2x chip, if not convert it , and flash the whole img to the duff box
