some people seems to forget that there are lots of Members are new to fixing the Dbox and all they need is something simple and easy thing to flash and little work to add what is needed for the image to make the box more enjoyable, this is a science rocket image for the newbies If any of you think this is a great job done by intelligent person/s then you need to think again

I have Flashed this image in my box that some peoples are heaving about it (I don't want to name this image) and I'll tell you still much work to be done to it to get the good reputation as the old ones.
The complements I have read about it in this forum and somewhere else. I find it realy hard to believe how complacated it is.
Do you want to heare my honest opinion about it? is absolutly rabbish.
Do you know why? because you spend more time gathering all infos and other bits and bobs that you need to fix it than seating down and enjoy watching you favourite channels.
No matter who you are you'll never beat the old images and specialy good old "DONS v2 image"
here how the Dons image works (flash it in your dbox FTP the Fix, keys and bouquets and that's it) you don't even need to do a scan. that how simple it is and that what I call a great image.
one last question How many of you get this image and the one before it working? I hope is more than the ones are stragling asking how to get it to work. :

There is an easy answer to this and it is to phone VM and get a digibox from them and pay for it. No one here has said that getting it for free was easy.......... LOL

Got to agree with diddydave... if its just as simple as download this file and flash it to your box and voila illegal reception of cable channels, have you any clue how fast the people who run this site would go to prison?

We all start as n00bs at this but with a bit of digging on forums and help from clued-up people like the great guys on here we all learn how to do whats required, it doesnt happen overnight unfortunatly.

lets remember the good old days.......... when dbox2 was ?50-60 the dbox scene buzzing with friendly sharing people. meny people was realising images somtimes 3 in a week. all fully loaded and user friendly how nice...

wouldnt it be nice to go back in time .

its a free world and we dont want to include illegal files in our images

because yes we would like to spend xmas with our family not in a prison cell

and our kids and family's xmas is a little more important than your free tv.

and secondly why should devilfish and his team here at digital kaos risk thier xmas too .

how about a little bit of thought on how much people do around here to keep things going the amount of time and effort taken to run a forum like this the amount of investment .

but as you been told in this thread if you cant get it working there is always a vm subscription.

my comments is about the simplicity of the image I have mentioned no names or tried to offend any one.
This is a total misunderstanding of the comment I have made. I urge you to read it again so you know what I tried to say,
I have been in this forum longer than most of you I have noticed lots of changes therefore there is no need to come out
with a reply that doesn't make any since. I am always here wither my box is working or not and trying to help others

It isn't about free TV, not for everyone anyways. It's about technology and learning about the way things work. It's also a nice for when you have a severe case of "stickittothemanitous", a common affliction that people can contract from time to time...

yes you are right you need to FTP services to any image cause the different areas the reason I have mentioned bouquets only because help to keep the channels tidy in the right categories.

The one BIG thing here that everyone has missed is that even if the images that are offered here are FTA's they take quite a bit of time to make and all this is done in their spare time with NO PAYMENT in return and without these people you would not be having the chance to watch FREE tv in the first place.

because you dont name the image or leave your feelings in the relevent feedback thread. we are only left guessing what image your talking about.

but really all that has changed in these images to make them complicated are the fact you are required to install your own emu,keys,and roms.

you mean you want the image guys to put these emu's .keys and roms back in so its easier for you to get your free tv.

During the 5 minutes that this takes, I'll have made you a nice cup of tea. I'll then add your backed-up services and bouquets in for you. Oh dear, you don't have these files? Never mind- let me me get the kettle on again, while we do 'Set My Location'- reboot- then drink our second cuppa quickly, while Scan takes it's 5 minutes to complete...

...and then we'll then build your 7 Day EPG filter file, while the toast is grilling.

While your eating your toast and avidly watching your free telly, I'll have packed up and vanished like a phantom in the night, leaving you to wonder "What did I actually learn there?"
