    scanning a dbox2

    im having problems scanning a dbox2 .

    i havent got setanta sports and i am trying to do a scan . its blade image

    this is my step by step scan .

    press dbox .
    press service .
    service scan .

    thenmy options are

    scan for services - all services
    bouqet - leave current
    cable provider - all uk scanning
    scan mode - complete
    netid-00022

    then its start scan .

    when i start scan tho nothing happens . it looks like the scan is starting but nothing else happens .

    i leave it a while and it never stops .

    is there anything else i can do to get this thing to scan

      I cant remember the menus of blade, I had it for long enough but my memory is crap. Does it have fast scanning ???

      If there is no set my location when you press blue button then it probably doesnt but in the service menu have you fast scan set at on or off, try it with both but chancing are you may need fast scan off.

              no im in glasgow . i will try what jaffa said .

              i dont think it has a set location tho .

              i will go over and give jaffas info a go .

              thanks guys .

              would i be better ftp a new image to the box

                  Yes m8, if its an old image, the latest images have lots more features aswell as the setlocation.
