how do i flash the d box 2 with commando please help!!!!!

i want to flash my d box 2 to the commando image as my channels have gone off is this all i need to do or do i need a few extra goodies in the mix to enable the rebirth of my cable tv screen any help would greatly be appreciated.

Flashing the commando image will not help you.

FTP all files to the /var/keys folder on your box and reboot it.

Hi,
I've just put Commando 10 on a mates Dbox and now can't ftp the other files to it as there is no network settings shown??

I've tried restarting the network and checking it from the dbox but it says "unreachable"

This is from the Dbox services menu - Network.

I've turned Start network on boot to ON and rebooted it but still no numbers in the IP address ??

Any help?

D'oh - just realised I set these myself !

Press ok on the ip adress in network settings and put your usual ip in there then restart network and should be ok

If you dbox is connected via a router just turn on DHCP then reboot! The router should assign an ip address to your box then all you have to do is go back to network and select show network settings!!

Still can't get commando 10 to work but I'm reading through all the threads still....
