changed MAC/Physical IP address

Does anyone know how i can change my Physical IP/MAC address back to what it was before?

I was using FlashFXP to do stuff with my Dbox2 yesterday and somehow i have changed my physical IP address and cant access the internet at all.

Maybe someone knows what i have done.

I am still a bit of a novice, so some step by step instructions would be useful.

you probably manually put in an ip address for your computer for it to communicate with the dbox. All you have to do is set your computer to automatically detect settings instead of setting a manual ip. Set that, then restart your internet connection ( try switching your modem off for 10 secs, then back on) and that should sort you out.

However i have done all this. Im pulling my hair out with this one.

If your using a cable modem, you need to tick obtain IP in network settings. Switch both router and modem off and then switch on modem leave it for a minutte then switch on router.
