    DBOX2 HELP

    Hi Everyone -

    I'll start by saying this is undoubtedly the best forum out there for this kind of thing. Its not flattery, its the truth.

    Now saying that, I have a DBOX 2 that my mate was going to throw out.

    I have loaded the new Commando 10 software and have loaded the latest Rom files from RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

    I have rescanned using the following for Dublin
    Dublin - Ireland N*L, 42753 363000 6887

    I have the free-to-air channels but nothing else comes in.

    I'm quite new to the DBox2 so I'll welcome any help anyone can provide.

      chmod 755 your emus


      heres what it does.
      Chmod 755

          The bit you are missining is in the first post of the Commando 10 thread

          Softcamds go in /var/bin/emu ###CHMOD 755###

              Not expecting a response till tomorrow, I turned off the machine connected to the box (other machine). I'll try this in the morning and get back to you.

                  No files

                  I have no files in /var/bin/emu/

                  Where can I get files for this folder that will allow this box to work?

                          You need to put a cam or 2 in that folder, either get them out of another working image you have, or google for them, easy to find.

                              A cam or 2? I'm a total novice at DBox2

                                  put the emus in the var/bin/emu folder and chmod 755.
