Dbox2 - Seems the scart is broken

Not getting any picture on my Dbox2 - no picture on screen etc. Box loads up and I tried a reflash, just seems to be nothing from the scart. Any fixes anyone knows of ?

Do you get the menu on screen if you press the dbox/menu button on remote.

on my nokia I use the top scart never had any problems. Try pressing menu then red button or menu then yellow button.

Is the LED display on the box saying menu when you press the menu button? Is the box giving you different displays when it changes channels etc?

The LCD screen changes and I can run through the menus on the LCD screen. I have tried different TV and scart lead. It seems to be a problem with the scart connection on the actual DBox

cant remember what the back of a dbox looks like , its been that long.
but does it not also have the video connections ( red, white, yellow ) pins, if so you could try that way. If you tv has video out ?

Try going through the menus on lcd to dbox/settings/video/video output and press ok to scroll through them to see if you get anything on tv

Sounds like you have dry solder joints on the scart where it meets the circuit board. If you are handy with a soldering iron you could pop the box open and touch up all the joints on the scart to see if that solves it.
