Hi, I have just loaded the new Commando image and now I can't get back onto my box. I have set the IP address and can Ping the box.
It would seem like the logon and password have changed. Does anyone know what they are for Commando or how I can find out. I was using Root & Admin but this doen't work now.

as stated on the download write up the password is commando

OK I missed the password.
I have another small issue. I now have locked channels again. I have loaded the nagrarom7 KEYs etc and rebooted but this has not resolved the issue. Is this correct?
Any help would be appreciated.
Just need to get my channels back. What do I need to do and where do I put any files that are required.
I am new to all this.

See? I knew you'd be straight back, LOL!

Apart from Autoupdate.Key and camd_cfg (for evocamd) or the same files duped 'as' AutoRoll.Key and mg_cfg (for mgcamd), you only need three more files in /var/keys m8-

nagraepr7.bin
nagraram7.bin
nagrarom7.bin (Cydine's fixed 28 Nov 08 version)

And none of the files in there need any chmod treatment; they are all perfectly happy with the default 644)

Then of course (purely for testing and educational purposes only)- you'd need evocamd in /var/bin/emu - but after you've transferred this file via ftp, use ftp to right click on it, then change the file attributes (chmod) from the default 644 to 755 else it won't work, full stop!

Hi all, I have reloaded the commando image and loaded the keys and XML's and all the other files that have been sugested but I still only get the basic channels. all the others are locked.
What can I do to get the rest of the channels back and unlocked.
I have tried a new scan. reloaded the new key file but no luck.
HELP please before my wife throws me out of the house along with my Nokia Dbox2.

change your EMU to evocamd then leave it on sly sports till channel clears (it can take upto 10mins). also check your ucode is correct (blue button twice for EMU &UCODE options).

How do I know what Ucode I need. Also how do I change my EMU to evocamd

just had same prob got a brand spankin dbox2 from germany only certain channels rest locked a newbie and a bit of a noob when it comes to dbox s any guides out there ?
