rom 10 update but not rom 7

ok keymaster says the keys have changed thank god but my auto update doesent seem to be updating just had a little look in file manager and rom 10 has updated the new keys but rom 7 has old keys i've just deleted every rom apart from 7 and rebooted left it on sky sports 1 and still only fta any ideas

Did you ftp the rom7 fix or new roms fix which fixed 7,10 and 11.

Download files from here and put them all in /var/keys and overwrite existing.

from when the keys was first changed i updated the new rom7 fix and deleted all the other roms but found that when the keys changed the box did not update so flashed a fresh image and left the other roms just updated with rom 7 and it worked but now when i look in file manager at the keys the new keys are showing at the top of the screen with rom 10 rom 7 is at the bottom still showing old keys are the new rom7 keys supposed to be at the top of the screen in file manager

you only need the 3 rom 7 files delete all the other roms. what emu are you using and what image are using?

Same here, cracking image mine is updating fine are you using evocam have you tried clearing the keylist text file and rebooting? leave on s*y sports 1 for a couple of min should write new keys and clear.

cheers bigman i've tried the updated roms and seem to be working is there a way i can test to see if its working properly
could i go into filemanager and change the keys so there incorect then reboot the box to see if it updated the keys

hi mate i've downloaded the new updated roms works sweet mate my only question is when i look at filemanager and keys it says rom 10 and the key i thought the new auto update was rom 3 thats not even showing but i have all the channels again its baffeled me a bit are the roms that i've downloaded all new i read other threads and it said you only needed rom3

You need nagraepr7.bin, nagraram7.bin and nagrarom7.bin. in keys folder you dont need any rom10,rom11 or rom3 files. if you want to test without waiting for a key roll delete the contents of the keylist.txt file and reboot should write new keys after couple of mins on an encrypted channel.

It is the three rom7 files you need. The other files that should be in the key folder are autoroll.key, autoupdate.key, camd_cfg, keylist.txt.

go to the extras menu in the main dbox menu and make sure evocam is on then press restart cam then see if the channels clear. be patient it can take 5 to 10 mins some times.

right then just added the updated roms rebooted and come on straight away

i no something isnt right here i've deleted every rom apart from rom7 changed the keys slightly rebooted it came on straight away great but when i view the keylist it says rom10 au **************** is that right could you have alook on your image it seams strange that its working and i deleted all the other roms and its showing rom10

Mine says rom7. I cant see any reason for your's to say rom 10 if you have no rom 10 in the key's folder.
