Fixing the dreaded Kein System

Evening All,
whilst trying to change my image I flashed a single image which i know know was incorrect.I know have the dreaded kein Image message on the LCD I have tried to FTP the box using a crossover cable and Image flash assistant.I have been plugging away for a couple of days .I get as far as pressing start on the assistant manager and It minimizes down to the boot manager (little grey screen)screen .I tried putting IP in the ip and pressing start and a message comes up in german .I assume its telling me its the incorrect IP.I have read many of the threads on here and followed them but it doesnt seem to be working.Divine intervention by a higher being would be much appreciated.Could any one also advise on an image, I only wanted to change the Image because I did not have the ability on my old image to remove the audio voiceover I had on many of the channels.Thankyou in advance

with ifa you dont need the ip address of box also disable your firewall try that

No ips are needed with iFA mate
Its the only option now
FTP will not work on a Kein System

I had read about inputting of the ip on someone elses thread,thats why I tried it and as the little gey box came up it seemed to make sense.There seems to be no connectivity now im in kein system.And yes I have disabled the firewall.Or do I have to just keep plugging away till it decides to recognise the box.And thanks for the speedy reply by the way

KLEIN SYSTEM

i used the old IFA 1.56, cross over cable, to beat the klein system. the other ifa's did not work. because you have to get your boxes and pc's talking, with with ftp's, even to use the new IFA'S , but in klein error, you can not do anything, with the old one ifa, has some kind of different boot method, and it worked for me, make sure you have the right image 1 or 2 chip, or it will klein again.

i forgot to mention, when you have picked you image,sometimes you have to switch your dbox off at the wall, and back on (rebooting ), i'm sure you did not have to do with this old software.

it worked however i updated the assistant as it was the only link I could see then it worked as per the instruction.I have just flashed commando 9 i think .It come on with a fancy screen and i am know rescanning .Although im not sure i did the right scan as it did not have a overwrite existing files line as did the last one so i am trying new scan will keep you posted.
