ss-enigma image - an issue

been running the ss enigma on the dbox 2 (as I have DM 500c wanted DBox 2 to run same interface)

works very well and am impressed

however noticed one problem, after a few days when going to a channel the screen goes blank and thats it - its like the box has crashed and no input from remote works

need to reboot the box

any ideas ?

which version of SSE you running, never see this on V4 but did on V3 , but a channel change would sort it

the latest version 4.1

I can be watching any channel, then when I change channel the screen is black.

Hold on, 4.1 at the moment is only for dm500, v4.0 is for dbox. (when I get my act together I will do a 4.1 for dbox with the newer cvs features ).

Anyway, are there certain channels that this happens on? As I got a report this happens on someones box but ONLY on SOME FTA channels but audio is OK?

Hold on, 4.1 at the moment is only for dm500, v4.0 is for dbox. (when I get my act together I will do a 4.1 for dbox with the newer cvs features ).

its the latest version for the DBox (so its probably 4.0)

happens on any channel - be it FTA or subscription and no audio or video

yesterday it hung on the channel list when I tried to go to another channel.

Ahh, ok, Have you tried different ucodes? How much free space does your setup have? (go to blue button menu, addons etc, should show your free space).

the ucode is 001A - will try the other ones like vortex or 0014

also will get the free space info when I get home.

I have set ucode to 0014A -its is a Nokia box 2x

free disk space is as follows

/var 10% (762kb)

an update, after couple of days, same issue

was on sky movies went to itv1 to watch willy wonka and no audio/video blank screen and box froze

rebooted and all ok now
