    Trouble with Sagem Dbox2

I've just reflashed my Sagem Dbox2 using the Blade Quad image having previously had Andromeda V2.0....

Thought I'd rescan my channels bofore I apply the fix but it's only scanning for a few seconds then it tells me to go into the menu and select scan!

Any suggestions as to why it's not scanning properly?

So meanwhile I thought I'd try and apply the fix updating the nagraroms, etc., but kept getting the following:

    Status: Connecting to 192.168.2.24:21...
    Error: Connection timed out
Error: Could not connect to server

    Status: Connecting to 192.168.2.24:21...
Status: Connection attempt failed with "ETIMEDOUT - Connection attempt timed out".

My box I.P. address is 192.168.2.24
My computer I.P. address is set to 192.168.2.23
The subnet mask is the same on box as computer 255.255.255.0

I've tried using Filezilla, Flash and Internet Explorer but still no luck!

Any help or suggestions much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

Just scanning while writing this message, appears to be doing the trick!

      Many thanks.

Just the problem of trying to ftp the fix into the box!

Are there any other ways to apply the fix other than the ftp method?

I'll have a read through it to see if helps!

When following the ftp instructions everything seems straight forward, so I'll get a new xover lead just to rule that out first!

              Once again many thanks!!!

i have a simular problem with a sagem 1x box
i have tried everything and cant get it to set up a networtk connection

if i connect it via my router then my router will assign an ip address if the dbox is set to: dhcp --> on. but then when i test network setting on the dbox everything but the box ip fails

if i set dhcp off then set all my default gateway ect i get the same results as b4

i know its not a problem with the setting bewcause i have a nokia box that will ftp just fine
i have tried setting all the settings on the sagem box identical to the nokia and ran it off of the same cable as the nokias and no joy

any idea's?? seems to me that the network card on the box is fubarred?!?!?!?!
