Help Needed

Hey all, I require some help.

I am using a dbox2 on linux Neutrio Image 7.25 Beta, or something like that. One day the channels just went off, the epg is showing listing but no picture or soud nothing, there is key logo on in the bottom right corner. At first i did check the keys to see if they were update and yes they are fine. So i dont no what else i can do.

I was thinking on changing the image on the box to commando 10, not sure, what that image is like, can anyone help me with what to do, how to get my channels back, or so on.

I am a newbie to all this, so thank you for understanding my problem.

Hi, i have been using this image for about 3 weeks, now, and have lost all the channels on three occassion. The first time it happened, i thought the SERVICES file got corrupted, so i reloaded them from a copy i had saved, then restarted the EMU, chs came back. Quicker to rescan for chs.
Try that. If you get no joy, you will need to reflash the box.
I like lincsat 7.25 beta x1, it has very fast channel changing, good picture quality. I just wish it was a bit more stable.

there is a problem with the lincsat 7,25 Full being too 'full' of files very little space left which can make the img go read-only therefore not save files or it seems lose files, the service file.

Some people have deleted the gbox emu which frees up some space but there is now a lincsat 7,25 Fullish version of the img which is suppose to be more stable

Removing GBOX EMU ? will running fewer channels help?

Hi,
how about cutting down on the number of channels? I normally remove the chs i dont want, in the services file, not sure if that is the correct way to do it, as it tells you not to. It makes a reference to the myservices file. You wouldn't know where that is, would you?
Also re: GBOX emu removal instructions , where would i find it?

my full sevice file is only 28kb so ur not going to free up much space, the gbox emu is 286 and can be found in var/bin/emu or bin/emu

myservice files i've never used but you can use this instead of editing ur service files to show only the channels u want....

y not try the fullish img?

can u send me a link to the iamge, please.
It is for a sagem, x1.
Are there any sportster images out there new than 1.006rc.
I have not been able to find one, or, i am not looking in the ringht place!

metman, installed the img u sent me, have all chs

i did not need to install key or set location for that img of gav, u sent, how come? I only needed to upload my services and bouqets.
I went to sk-s***s1 and restarted the emu, waited, and got all the chs.
anyway it's working.
