D Box

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help.

Been given a Sagem dbox to see if can fix, plugged it in when scanning for cannels it does not find anyting. Im assuming from this it will need a new image going on it. that right? Just wondering if the images for the dbox2 wil work or not?

If not is there anthing that can sort it out or basically does it need going in the bin?

If the image supports it
Have you set the location before scanning

not if it's a dbox1 - how many scarts on the back 2 or 3

does it look like this

I had a few boxes like that in the past, nearly every time it was the tuner. Always binned them at that point. If it was just the image and you are using the correct setting for the scan i.e 6952(telepest), 6887(nthell) or bruteforce and scan still not finding anything then this is most likely the case imho.

didn't think so but strange way to ask question....quoting dbox then asking if a dbox2 img was suitable

It dont look like either of thoes on the back but does that 2 scart sockets.

Thats what the box looks like.



No idea which dbox it is then just says on the front sagem dbox.

Any ideas?

Its a dbox2 m8, have a look in the blue button menu to see if it has set your location.

if the screen is on the right its a dbox 2 if its on the left dbox
