    I want to record.....

    Hi Guys,

i ahve seen the following on flEaBAY and was wondering if was at all possible to record tho this contraption from the DBOX..

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tab%3DWatching

to me it looks like a standard NAS drive but with the feature of streaming direct to your TV than going through the box..

    any advice would be helpfull..

Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year

                    13. How to play subtitles with my SO SMART ?
For DVD files: Launch the file 'YOUR_FILM.IFO' to see your DVD. If you play only a VOB file, the subtitle will no be taken in charge.

For DIVX files: Include the subtitle file in the same folder as the video file (the subtitle file must have the same name as the video file). And then launch the DIVX file.

Once the movie is launched, push on the button 'subtitle' on the SO SMART remote. And then select the wished subtitle language.

i think you'll find that the firmware/software for all these different hdd pvrs is similiar across the board. if you want simple then the pigeon english instructions that this will no doubt come with wouldnt be the way forward i would think. plus its around ?110 just for the system without a hdd.
its up to you at the end of the day mate, but i know which one i would go for.
as to the size. specs of it are 22 x 16 x 4.5 cm compared to 19 x 5 x 19 cm on your link. its only 3 centimetres longer.
